The Right Commentary - First Post
Hello! I want to welcome you to the first post of a new blog, "The Right Commentary."
The parent blog of The Right Commentary is David's Musings. Now, I did political commentary on David's Musings for the past three years. But, since I reopened that blog, I prefer to focus on the lighter side of things, some amusing, some not so amusing. This blog will focus on politics in the United States of America. These are turbulent times in which we live. Unemployment is at a staggering 9.1%, the economy is sinking again, Wall St. is up and down with more downs than ups. Liberals like to lay the blame at the feet of former President George W. Bush. No doubt, he shares some blame.
However, I refuse to blame a man who has been out of office for over two and one-half years. President Obama came in with "Hope and Change" promising to make things better. President Obama has made things worse, much worse. The national debt has increased almost five trillion dollars under his administration. Unemployment has risen by nearly two percent and was once at just over 10%. President Obama passed a stimulus bill that promised unemployment would not rise above 8% and that it would reignite the economy. He has done neither. In the summer of 2010, President Obama went on a "Summer of Recovery." We are still recovering from his failed leadership. Consumer Confidence is at an all time low. Our enemies hate us even more despite an "Apology Tour" by President Obama who bowed down to every third-world country dictator he could locate. We are at war in three different countries now, all in the Middle East. President Obama is promising another jobs bill as I write this post. He is at a loss of what to do next.
The Presidential Election of 2012 is probably the most important since the election of 1860 when Republican Abraham Lincoln won the Presidential Election just prior to the Civil War. President Obama and his Socialist allies in the Democratic Party must be defeated. As in WWII, defeat is not an option for conservatives. If we lose this election, the Progressive Era will go full force in this country. If the Progressive agenda is enacted without any worry of reelection, the catastrophic damage will be too horrible to contemplate. We are presently on course to become a Welfare State, a Nanny State if you will. The federal government does not hand out benefits without something in return. That "something" is freedom. Liberals, Progressives and/or Socialists always want something in return for government cheese. In 2008 Americans did not know this. In 2011, Americans are starting to realize just how perilously close they are to losing the very fabric of what this nation is based, the Bill of Rights. There are consequences for elections. In 2008, we voted a man as president who has never held a real job in his life. He had very little experience that involved checks and balances. He is a "Constitutional Professor" who hates the U.S. Constitution and views it as an outdated document. President Obama has a vision of an activist federal government that hands out rules and regulations that the subjects must adhere to on a daily basis. A federal government that the people must serve rather than a federal government that must serve the people is what President Obama and his Cult members envision. President Obama is a man who would be King of the World if given the opportunity.
I will be giving more commentary in the weeks, months a head as we close in on the 2012 Presidential Election. Yes, I am one of those "Vast, right-wing conspirators" that Hillary Clinton and that ilk abhor. You know what? I'm proud of that fact. I'm proud to be an American. How many times have you ever heard a liberal say that? Not often if any at all. We are a country that has lost its way. I'm not pleased with anyone running for President from the Republican Party. The only thing I am pleased about is that Sarah Palin is not running. Palin, or Romney would ensure reelection for President Obama. I'm not altogether pleased with Rick Perry. But, Perry can beat Obama. The fact the Obama campaign called out wanting Perry demonstrates just how worried they are about him. That gives me some hope. The Democrats will go to the mattresses in this election. They are noted for their lies and innuendo with help from news media in this country. It was the news media and an oblivious American voter who allowed this monstrous mistake to become President of the United States. We can correct this in November of 2012. We must correct in November 2012. I plan to write at least one post a week in this regard. May God Bless these United States of America as we endeavor to take back this country from those who have a Socialist agenda to pursue.

All political views are welcome. That includes the liberal viewpoint as well. Civil discussion is preferred and encouraged. You can disagree without being disagreeable.
